It is dedicated to one of the oldest educational institutions of Ukraine, the first pedagogical institution in the south of our country, founded May 2, 1817 in Odesa  at the Richelieu Lyceum.

April 27-28 at the main women’s final tournament the two teams met – the students of the Pedagogical and Maritime Universities. 

April 27, 2017 in Odesa there was an official visit of the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine. During the visit the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine Mr. Lee Yang-goo visited South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky firstly.

Congratulations to Li Yue, the postgraduate student in music and choreography with a victory at the IV International Festival and Competition «Pereyaslav dyvogray», which took the 1st place and received the title of laureate. The supervisor is Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor       Olena Rebrova.  

April 25-26, 2017 at the athletics stadium "Dynamo" within the regional XXVth Student Games there was held a championship among universities athletics. Ushynsky University team which consists of students who are trained at the department of theory and methodology of physical culture and sports disciplines, won the championship the first place with 1192 points.
