May 8, 2015 at the University teachers and students of all faculties joined memorable actions for the victims during the Second World War of 1939-1945.
May 6-11, 2015 Poltava Club hosted the final round of the championship of Ukraine in table tennis in the top league among men.
Our team "Petrel" held the last round having won six victories and left in the final table on the fifth place.

May 1-2, 2015 Dnipropetrivsk held VII Open International Festival Competition and academic vocal music "Golden Stars", which goal is to educate the younger generation in the pursuit of high aesthetic ideals, exploring musical art of festival participants, further strengthening cultural connections between peoples.
Laureate of I degree Festival Competition in the category "Instrumental genre" has become the third-year student of the Faculty of musical and choreographic education Gui Tszyamin (class of Associate Professor N. Bilova). In the nomination "Academic vocal" the 1-st place, the Laureate title and the degree is ranked by a third-year student Ilona Shostak (Class of G. Chemenyan, concertmaster T. Stanko).

April 22-25, 2015 at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D.Ushynsky the second stage of the Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the specialty “Mathematics” among pedagogical universities was held. In the competition 29 participants from 16 pedagogical universities of Ukraine took part. The Olympiad was held in two rounds. In the first round, participants had to solve the assignment of higher mathematics, in the second round - of elementary mathematics.
Oksana Orlyns’ka took the third place, Master of Physics and Mathematics of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D.Ushynsky.
The representative of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D.Ushinsky, Master of Sports of international class, a 2nd year student of physical rehabilitation, a graduate of theory and methodology of physical culture and sports disciplines Vladimir Voronkov took the 2nd place at a distance of 400 meters complex swimming and the 3rd place on 1500 m freestyle. Congratulations to the winner of the competition and wish them further achievements in sports!
Congratulations to a 2-d year student of the Faculty of Physical Rehabilitation of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D.Ushinsky, Master of Sports of Ukraine Vladimir Mikhailov on winning the 1st place in Ukraine Championship Wrestling held in Lviv, 28-30 April 2015. The champion was prepared by the Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, Master of Sports, Associate Professor of defectology and physical rehabilitation Petro Todorov.
