University Open House Day was held on March 15, 2013, in the assembly hall of the “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky”. On March 21st, the “South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University
 named after K. D. Ushynsky” held a concert dedicated to the National Day of Spring and Observance of the New Year – Novruz. The audience plunged into festivities honoring the culture of the Turkmen people. The students from Turkmenistan described their country, their traditions of celebrating Novruz, their national costumes and their traditional cuisine. There was an overwhelming atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding in the auditorium.

The International Festival of Culture washeld on March 23, 2013, at the Three Gorges University (China). The purpose of this event was the presentation of the cultural and educational life of the world’s countries.

Our university was represented by Natalya Pakhomova-Vlasova, the Honored Artist of Ukraine, a teacher at the Institute of Arts. Natalya developed an exhibition that presented Ukraine, Odessa and our university. The presentation by Natalya Pakhomova-Vlasova was recognized as one of the best at the festival.
