April 4, 2015 at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D. Ushinsky a master class was held by a graduate of the Faculty of arts and graphics, a famous English artist and teacher Julia Lisle, which presented the Creative Workshop "Caledonia" of the Faculty of arts and graphics.

April 3, 2015 the Twelfth National Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Computer Science, Information Systems and Technologies" was held, one of the organizers of which was the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D. Ushinsky.

March 31, 2016 in Odessa Palladium club the second round of inter-university youth festival of creative talent "Student Spring 2016" was held.

March 29, 2015 the Odessa Philharmonic held the International Music Festival Competition «Sunny Fest», which goal was to identify creative and talented young people to give it the possibility of further creative development and growth; enhancement of cultural and artistic world of the young generation. Competition program included the instrumental genre, academic vocal and choreography participants from Ukraine, Lithuania, Belarus and Moldova.

In the category "Instrumental genre" Laureate of the 1st degree was the first year student of the Faculty of musical and choreographic education Oleg Zelenkovsky (class of Associate Professor A. Horozhankina).

In March 2015 the Odessa state television within the program "Crossroads of childhood," which is a modern youth social talk show, "Utopia - future or reality" was discussed. The guests were the lecturers of South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D. Ushinsky - PhD, Associate Professor of world history and methodology of science Vera Okorokova and a candidate of psychological sciences, Associate Professor of theory and methodology of practical psychology Oksana Vdovichenko. They discussed utopia as a social phenomenon, principles of structure utopian states, ranging from Plato to the present.
