Turkmen National Holiday Novruz!
March 23, 2015 at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D. Ushinsky a national holiday Novruz was celebrated. This day is a New Year spring among residents of eastern countries and the day of awakening nature. The the ceremony was attended by the head of the Odessa Humanitarian Association "Turkmen World" N.B. Hallyyev, the coordinator of the international project "Educational information and cultural center of Turkey Mustafa Yavuz, the Rector of the University, staff and students.


The sixth open festival-competition in choreography and vocal art "Bright Country" was held in Odessa on the 21st-23d of March. This year its slogan was "Children for peace United Ukraine". The final gala concert was held on the stage of the Russian Drama Theatre. The festival had two separate competitions: academic singing, classical ballet and choreography and vocal work. Applications were from the whole country. The jury consisted of folk and honored artists of Ukraine, choreographers, performers, composers and teachers. All participants received gifts and prizes from the organizers and partners of the festival.
March 19, 2015 at Glukhiv National Pedagogical University after Alexander Dovzhenko the second round of the All-Ukrainian student research specialty "Preschool education" was held.
The 4th year student of distance learning in historical and philosophical field Catherine Aniskova was awarded a diploma of III degree for winning the All-Ukrainian competition of students' scientific works on natural, technical and humanitarian sciences in specialty "Historical Science" (supervisor Associate Professor of History of Ukraine V.M.Chumak), which took place March 19, 2015 at Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky State Pedagogical University named after Gregory Skovoroda.
March 18, 2015 at South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University after K.D. Ushinsky a new book "Portals of a myth. Fine Art of Odessa in the second half of the XXth - beginning of the XIst centuries in the space of time" was presented and authored by Andrey Tarasenko, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Fine Arts.
March 15, 2015 in Vorontsov Palace the VI International music competition in memory of M.I. Spozito, which together with the students of Music Academy was attended by students of musical and choreographic education. Open to musicians of all countries, the competition has an academic focus in repertory requirements.
