On February 2, 2026, the International Grant from the Eurasian Foundation (from Asia, Japan) launched for the third time at Ushinsky University on a new topical topic “Eurasian Educational Space: Formation and Evolution of Educational Systems of Ukraine and Asian Countries in Different Historical Periods”!
The event began with a solemn opening ceremony. Andriy KRASNOZHON, the Rector of Ushynsky University, , delivered a welcoming speech and honored guests: Head of the Foundation Secretariat, Mr. Jungon CHEON, and Coordinator of the Japanese Cultural Center “Noboru Tayo (昇る太陽) / The Rising Sun” from the Japanese side, public figure, cultural expert and religious scholar, Mr. Masato FUNAKOSHI.
The Grant program includes a series of open lectures during the second semester of 2025−2026. So, the first lecture “Introduction into the Eurasian Educational Space: Concepts, Approaches and Historical Context” was presented by Andriy KRASNOZHON, the Rector of Ushynsky University, and the second lecture “Ukraine and China: Educational Cooperation and Academic Exchanges” was presented by Oleksandra POPOVA, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. More than a hundred participants of the educational process were involved in the initiated program of international academic mobility.
We hope for further productive academic cooperation with Japanese colleagues.
