On March 26, 2021, a working meeting was held on the issues of deepening cooperation between Ushynsky University and Mariupol State University in the field of pedagogical training and research.

Cooperation between universities has a long history and originates from joint projects for training and research in the field of political science, which at the initiative of Doctor of Political Science, Professor Naumkina S.M. (Ushynsky University) and Doctor of Political Science, Professor Pashina N.P. (MSU) grew in 2021 into the signing of an interuniversity cooperation agreement.

The meeting was held at the level of Vice-Rectors for Research and International Relations (Muzychenko G.V., Stupak I.V. - from Ushynsky University, Bulatova O.V., Marena T.V., Pavlenko O.G. - from Mariupol State University). The parties exchanged views on building the capacity of joint research, publishing activities, domestic and international mobility.

One of the results of the meeting is an agreement on scientific advice by leading professors, doctors of pedagogical sciences of Ushynsky University, led by the guarantor of ESP "Professional Education", Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Osypova T. Yu. Her colleagues from Mariupol State University to establish a pedagogical faculty on their basis.
