On March 30, as part of the Interreg NEXT Program "Black Sea Basin 2021-2027", the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine held an online consultation regarding the presentation of the features of future project tenders. Vice-rector for social, humanitarian and scientific-pedagogical work Andrii Nachev and coordinator of the center of international projects and programs of the university Volodymyr Chernykh took part in the event, who presented the university's research potential for participation in this program.

The implementation of projects within the framework of the Program will contribute to the further deepening of cross-border cooperation in the Black Sea basin, supporting three specific goals:
• development and strengthening of research and innovation potential;
• promotion of adaptation to climate change and prevention of natural disasters;
• strengthening the protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure.
