On April 3-4, 2023, the Department of Translation and Theoretical and Applied Linguistics of the state institution "South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky" and the Harbin Engineering University held the IX International Scientific Online Conference "Actual Problems of Philology and Professional Training of Specialists in a Multicultural Space" , which was attended by leading scientists, teachers of foreign languages and students. The forum was held with the support and participation of the Educational and Cultural Center "Confucius Institute" of Ushynsky University, Ivan Zyazyun Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Ukraine) and Namseul University (Republic of Korea).
Discussions initiated by the participants on current problems of philology and professional training of specialists in a multicultural space will contribute to the formation of a single scientific space through the integration of the leading experience of scientists from Western and Eastern countries.
