Andrii Olehovych Dobrolyubskyi was born on April 18, 1949 in Odesa in a family of scientists, recognized scientists, and professors. He graduated from the Faculty of History of Odesa University in 1971 and postgraduate studies at the Department of History of the Ancient World and the Middle Ages of OSU in 1976 under the supervision of Professor P. O. Karyshkovsky.

As part of the implementation of the International Scientific Project "Cross-Border Cooperation of the Countries of Central-Eastern Europe" (leader - Prof. Olena Lyseenko), on September 26, 2023, the next International Scientific and Practical Conference "The Phenomenon of Social Consolidation in Central-Eastern Europe: New Realities and challenges", which is organized by the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Management of Sociocultural Activities of Ushynsky University, the Southern Ukrainian Branch of the Sociological Association of Ukraine, the Association of Sociologists and Demographers of Moldova.

On September 16-23 a delegation of Ushynsky University visited the city of Harbin (PRC) as part of the rector A. V. Krasnozhon, the vice-rector for scientific work G. V. Muzychenko, the vice-rector for social and humanitarian and scientific of pedagogical work A. P. Nachev, dean of the faculty of foreign languages O. V. Popova, head of the international department O. O. Morgun and head of the educational and methodological department of Ushynsky University I. S. Tagieva. The purpose of the visit was to participate in a series of forums and round tables devoted to the functioning of the Confucius Institute Educational and Cultural Center and the development of strategies for the development of joint scientific and other academic projects of Ushynsky University and Harbin Engineering University.

On September 21, 2023, lectures of the Department of Pedagogy and postgraduate students of specialties 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences and 015 Professional Education took part in the online lecture "ORCID: profile of a scientist", which was organized by the staff of the Ushynsky University library. The lecture discussed the issues of registration, filling out and maintaining a profile. With the help of a multimedia presentation, algorithms of simple and sequential actions that the user-scientist must perform in order to achieve the desired result are provided. The meeting discussed the features and advantages of ORCID: simplification and automation of the author identification process and ensuring the possibility of unambiguous communication with their publications; elimination of the problem of various variants of transliteration of surnames of researchers, differences in national standards of bibliographic descriptions; providing a unique identifier and providing the possibility of maintaining a personal account for displaying research activities.

On September 21, 2023, a guest lecture was held by Olena Mykhaylivna Bondar, associate professor of the department of kinesiology and physical culture and sports rehabilitation of the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine (Kyiv), PhD in physical education and sports "Human ontokinesiology. Basic patterns of growth and development of the human body» for students of the first (bachelor) level of higher education in specialty 017 Physical culture and sports.

On September 20, the students of Ushynsky University took part in the All-Ukrainian student race "Travel across the country, United Ukraine", timed to the International Student Sports Day.
